This stadium was specifically built for the carnival. It comes alive during the event but you can visit it anytime and see the small museum dedicated to the history of samba, its importance for the culture of Rio and to samba schools. Come and enjoy Rio's most imposing event - the carnival.
Tickets for the carnival are issued a week prior to its date. On the day of the parade, the doors open at 6 pm.
