National Memorial on the Vitkov Hill

Located on top of Vitkov Hill, this functionalist structure serves as a Czech military history memorial. The building houses a ceremonial hall and several exhibitions.

The large bronze equestrian statue installed here depicts Jan Žižka, a famous Hussite leader, and it was erected in 1950, marking the anniversary of the Battle of Vitkov.
