One of the two sandy beaches on the island with sand imported from Western Sahara. This luxurious 125m wide golden beach offers two swimming pools for kids, changing rooms, showers, sun beds, parasols and a lifeguard service. You can also rent pedal boats or jet skis and play football or volleyball on the playground. The historical fishing village Machico itself is worth the visit.
