Arteara Necropolis

This huge necropolis is an archaeological site consisting of more than 800 tomb structures of the Ancient Canarians. As such, it is the largest aboriginal cemetery in Gran Canaria.

Located near the village of Arteara, the most interesting sight of this cemetery is definitely the King’s Tomb. During equinox, sun beams fall directly into this tomb.
