The University of Michigan–Dearborn is a public university in Dearborn, Michigan. It is one of the two regional universities operating under the policies of the University of Michigan Board of Regents.
UM-Dearborn is one of the 14 master's universities in the State of Michigan. The university's enrollment is approximately 8,700 students, behind Baker College, ahead of Saginaw Valley State University. It offers over 100 majors and minors, 43 master's degree programs, and 6 doctoral degree/specialist programs.
Located in the Metro Detroit region, UM-Dearborn is also known for its community engagement within Detroit and is part of The Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities. Fair Lane, a U.S. National Historic Landmark, is located on the Dearborn campus.
