    Temporarily closed because of Hurricane Sandy and is not set to reopen in 2012.

    Accessible only by boat. The service is operated exclusively by „Statue Cruises:“http://­www.statuecru­ises.com/, its ferries depart from Battery Park at regular intervals. You should reserve the ticket in advance for a particular time to avoid long waiting time in queues.

    Open daily except December 25th.
    First ferry from the Battery Park: 8.30 a.m. - 9.30 a.m. (season dependent)
    Last ferry from the Battery Park: 3.30 p.m.
    Last ferry from the Ellis Island: 5.15 p.m.
