    More information about Alcanada Golf

If you fancy honing your golfing skills whilst on your stay in Mallorca then Alcudia houses one of the best courses on the island. Located at Puerto de Alcudia, Alcanada Golf is an eighteen hole, par 72 golf course, that was opened for business back in October 2003. It was designed by father and son team Robert Trent Jones Sr and Jr and was constructed in such a way as to give off a naturalistic flow in keeping with the ever close Mediterranean Sea. The course itself slopes casually down to the shoreline amidst a plethora of olive, oak and pine trees and it gives the player simply stunning views of the island of Alcanada with its imposing lighthouse in the foreground. The backdrop of the course is the glorious Sierra de Levante mountains which tower high into the skyline. There are four par 5's, eight par 4's and six par 3's and each hole has white, yellow blue and red starting points with varying distances depending upon your skill level.

Other facilities include a full driving range where you can practice your tee skills, buggy rental as well as ordinary pull trolleys and club rental. There are also men's and ladies locker rooms with shower facilities plus as a well stocked golf shop where you can purchase all the latest golfing gear. If you fancy a little refreshment at the nineteenth hole, then there is a club house that can seat over 100 people.
