Bondi Beach

With clear sea waves washing the shore, famously soft sand on the banks, and iconic sunsets, this beach is one of the most popular and renowned sights in Sydney.

While here, you can learn how to surf, go whale watching, have a snack in one of the nearby restaurants, or browse through the goods on the Bondi Market. The beach also hosts many events, like the Festival of the Winds.

The approximately 1 km long beach is very busy all-year-round. When visiting, expect to meet crowds of people, both locals and tourists. If tired of sunbathing, go and explore the Coastal Walk that will lead you to other famous beaches.

It is possible to rent chairs and umbrellas here. For safety reasons, you should always swim between the red and yellow flags. You can get directly to the beach via public transport if you take bus 333.
